Dark Helm
A skullcap made from a dark material that seems to absorb the light around it. It has three gems in the front, a ruby surrounded by two emeralds. It was found by the party in the basement of the Temple of Burning Night when Bill stepped upon the heart shaped rock. The rock parted and inside was the Dark Helm.
Effects: The helm boosted Bill’s mental magic, causing the red ruby in the center of the helm to pulse in color. The helm either prevented Moon and Marble’s magic from functioning or actually drew power from them in the basement fight at the temple. It caused Bill to view his comrades as what can only be explained as a food source, and also gave him terrible dreams when he slept with it on. Upon removing it he slept fine.
